As requested by many Roland E-X50 and E-X30 users, we have produced popular styles from East Java, including Banyuwangi and Koplo influence. These styles are suitable for use at events and ceremonies.
The Jawa Timur Styles included are as follows:
POB banyuwangi: POB (Banyuwangi Orchestra Patrol) is a hybrid music group that combines many Western musical instruments with Banyuwangian musical instruments. Banyuwangi people are used to and accept music with new sub-genres that are adapted to the tastes and tendencies of the local market which are also influenced by
trends originating from regional, national and global markets.
Kendang Kempul Tradisional: Developed in Banyuwangi, East Java. Kendang kempul is sounded with traditional musical instruments, namely drums, ketipung, angklung, triangle, violin, etc. This music grew with the birth of the angklung musical instrument around the 1920s.
Kendang Kempul Modern: Kendang Kempul using modern musical instruments such as guitars, keyboards and drums have been added to make this music more dynamic. Since about the last 4 years, elements of dangdut koplo music, fiber rock, have also added to the repertoire of this native Banyuwangi music.
Jaranan Dangdut: Jaranan Dangdut is a sub-stream of Dangdut music originating from Nganjuk, East Java. This genre is a combination of Dangdut Koplo and Jaranan art. The distinguishing feature of this music is the strains of the kenong. Jaranan is a combination of dance and theater, which tells of the boar hunting dance.
